I am 52 years old and I am having the worst period ever in my life. Started 4 weeks ago....spotting, bleeding, nothing on some days and today im back to heavy bleeding with some clots. My doctor would like me to start the Nora Be 0.35 progesterone only pill.
Have any of you ladies ever experienced this type of bleeding OR been on this pill?

when i first started perimenopause I bleed 18 days straight heavy bleeding with clots , went and had the pelvic ultrasound everything came back good the lining of my uterus and everything was normal thank God but since then I have went to no periods to occasionally spotting to having a bloody show with clots , to going back to the bathroom and it's completely stopped my obgyn has offered me the progesterone shot and I've been wondering about it my self , I found this online about levels of estradiol mines 16.6 so idk if I'm postmenopausal now or exactly what , all I know is this has about drove me nuts , I just turned 48 .
Normal levels for estradiol are: 30 to 400 pg/mL for premenopausal women. 0 to 30 pg/mL for postmenopausal women. 10 to 50 pg/mL ...... could you possibly have had a cyst and it's busted ?? because it can cause heavy bleeding as well ..

I dont know I'm at my wits end. Still bleeding heavy....i have never had a period like this. i do have other period symptoms....night sweats and cramping.
