I tried a 6 month course of antibiotics 5 years ago. By the 3rd month i had no flare ups and it was great. After I stopped they all came back.

Now my GP wants me to try yet another 6 month course of antibiotics which I have declined. I just dont see how its worth it to have just 3 months of relief and I worry about the after effects of the antibiotics.

Good luck if you do try. I hope you have a huge improvement and that it lasts longer than mine did

Hi my specialist put me on water tablets believe it or not and that was over a year ago however different treatments help different people. Some strange reason is my lumps flare up worse in winter or when I get run down. I would like to think the tablets are working however we can't say for sure I just have to wait and see. Take care.
