Long Term Side Effects

I was taking Amlodipine and basically has all the horrible side effects you hear about, or at least enough of them to not bother listing them. One particular side effect that bothered me the most was the sensation of the facial flushing.

That particular side effect hasn't gone way, and now when it happens I feel deathly ill. I went to the ER and they did a bunch of blood tests and didn't find anything worth noting.

I spoke to the GP about the side effect of the feeling flush, but it was like talking to a brick wall as she couldn't understand how I am still experiencing the sensation of flushing.

My face doesn't get red, it just feels like I'm flush and this has been happening for almost 4 months now.

Has anyone else gone through the same experience? If so, have you spoken to you medical provider and gotten to the bottom of it?

Just looking for information about how where I can start looking to have this dealt with.

Thanks.

p.s. - I stopped taking amlodipine entirely about 4 months ago.
