long vs. short taper vs. cold turkey

I have been on this poison 4 years. I have wrote a couple posts on here on here, how this med has wrecked me and it is seemingly only getting worse at a more and more rapid pace. I truly don't believe I will last even 2 more years on this med. I am inches away from being totally bed bound, unable to do pretty much anything, not even being able to eat.
I tried a super slow liquid taper 2 times before, only cutting about 3% at a time, but it still gave me withdraval in a degree that would be totally unacceptable to manage for 3+ years, which is how long it would take to fully taper at that pace.
I feel I have only these options left:
- Don't taper/Stay on the med, which will surely means death for me in the very near future. I feel my body and mind dying. I feel truly living dead already.
- Try a faster taper while getting support from another antidepressant or nerve medicine (can that relief some of the withdraval?)
- Go cold turkey while getting even more heavy support from another antidepressant, and benzo's or simply booze on hand for when things get real critical.
Is there anything other I can do that has succes in lowering the intensity of withdraval? Supplements, diet choices, alternative treatments? Did something work to minimize withdraval for you?
My only shot at getting a life is getting off this. There is no life on this drug for me anymore.
At this point I have a hard time that any other drug could cause as much issue as mirtazapine has, and I don't see it being realistic at all to get of it without some other med that can lower some of the withdraval even a bit.
Thoughts?
