Ladies looking for reassurance and answers suggestions. I missed period in September started spotting October 2 this spotting went on for a week n half then i started to bleed and as if today i still am. The heavier bleed started on the 11th. Now im having crazy symptoms dry burning mouth, fatigue, anxiety, hot flashes, sinus and tummy issues ups and downs. Anxiety in my sleep!! And today i smelled smoke! I have an appt but its 3 weeks out. Has anyone bled this long and are all these symptoms associated with hormones. Uggh im starting to feel desperate. Any advice suggestions would be appreciated

My periods seem to be non-stop these past few months. I also had two heavy periods, two weeks apart. Plus, spotting all the time. I went to the obgyn and had an internal ultrasound, which was normal. She said, "sometimes things get worse before they get better." So, it's all perimenopause.

You described me 3 years ago. I still smell smoke! I bled non stop for 8 weeks & ended up in the hospital for blood transfusions. I could pass 20-40 clots a day. Lining was 18mm. Had to wait to see OBGYN (i was a mess physically & emotionally) & she put me on 4 months of large dose progesterone. All tests came back normal. Finally the bleeding stopped & went on the mini pill for 9 months. Heavy bleeding started again & i had the Mirena put in. Now 18 months with no bleeding. Assume I am post menopausal but don't know because some women don't bleed. I am 51. The last week my avid reflux has returned with nausea. It does get better.
