Looking for eye surgeon recommendations in the Bay Area

I believe my cataracts are close to being "ripe". Looking for anyone with positive experiences with eye surgeons in the Bay Area.

Glad to hear it! (about the 10 fingers that is)

I am not sure what the correction was on the contacts. You might be right. I knew monovision with LASIK wasn't for me. I'll definitely consider it but not sure if it's right for me. I'm fine with wearing glasses. Seems like there's a whole contingency of folks out there who absolutely positively do not want to wear any glasses, EVER. I say good luck to them but I'm going on the premise that I will have to wear glasses after surgery for...something. Unless I'm at the gym, a pool, hot tub or some other wet, steamy/foggy area, it doesn't bother me at all. Plus when I'm outside I have to wear sunglasses anyway so it's pretty much a toss up for me. I figure I'll probably just wear a good pair of progressive reading glasses around the house.
