Looking for fast healing

Not new to genital herpes at all and do not take prescribed meds. If I feel like an outbreak is about to happen I take 3, 1000mg of L-Lysine for a couple days but sometimes I don't recognize until is too late. Now I have an outbreak in an area that doesn't allow for enough air to maintain dryness, it's in constant contact with another part of my skin which causes constant irritation. My outbreaks last 8 days. Its been 6 so far with no signs of healing.

Who knows of an over the counter product or better yet a natural ingredient I can use for fast healing and to ease the discomfort?

Honestly, the best thing is acyclovir cream. Should be OTC, as it's usually for cold sores. Not natural, but it works pretty well for me and some others on here, so that's my recommendation.

It seems to help speed up healing, but I have always used it in the early stages, so I don't know what it would be like to use late. It won't clear everything up in a day or anything miraculous like that, but it might cut healing down to half the usual time, for example.

You are referencing a product for oral herpes but are using it on genital herpes, correct?  Just looking for relief when nothing else seems to be working.

Yes. It is marketed for cold sores, but can be used for and works on genital outbreaks, especially recurrences. Fyi, the cream only helps with healing, not reducing transmission. For the latter, the oral meds are required daily.
