Looking to exchange notes with friends in a similar situation

Hello,

I am posting this for a very dear friend (74 years old) who planning to visit the UK to seek expert consultation from the best doctors in the country. He has the following questions that will help him decide on how to use his time wisely while he is in the UK:

1. He was diagnosed with stage III Prostate Cancer about 2 years ago and has had the following treatments:

a) Orchiectomy

b) Radiation (ended in March 18)

c) Continues to take Calutide 50 mg

d) PSA is normal since the Orchiectomy

2. His main worry for the moment is that what are the next treatment options available if the Cancer appears again. Who would be the best specialist he can refer to in the UK for advice?

3. Professor Christopher Eden is one name that has showed up several times in this forum, so he would like to know if he can book a private consultation with him in London, Canterbury or Cheltenham? Details of all the locations where he is available for consultation would be very useful.

4. Would Processor Christopher Eden be the right specialist to consult in my friend's case or does he need to consult another specialist?

I look forward to your replies.

Regards,

Rudi
