Losing Weight

Although I follow a very healthy diet ensuring I eat plenty of fruit and vegetables and carbs, also exercising -I play golf once a week and try to get out and walk at leaast 30 minutes each day, I just cannot shift those extr pounds.  I am 5 ft tall and weight approximately 9st.7lbs.  I am nearly 73 years old and find I am getting a flabby tummy I want to be able to lose that extra fat but don't know how can anyone help.  I am fairly healthy but suffer from Oesteroid Athritis in both knees so heavy exercise is a no-go.  Up to 7 years ago I went to the gym on a regular basis but as I said I have always exercised throughout my life. I would appreciate any hints at all. Thanks.

Hi Hayley thanks for your suggestion but unfortunately I have a fear of the water and although I can swim a little I don't really like being in the pool.  guess I will have to try altering my diet and walk every day to see if I can rid myself of my jelly bell, but thank you for replying.

    Hi Maureen,

A mantra that I have used successfully in the past for losing weight naturally is "Eat a little less and Move a little more". Done consistently on a daily basis would put you on track with your weight loss goals..
