Losing weight on Fluoxetine

Hi,
I have aver been on flu 20 then 40 mg for 5 months.
I have put on two and a half stone I feel so much better but would like to lose the weight. Has anyone succeeded with this any advice appreciated.
I know I have been eating more and I have a tendency to put on weight
I crave sugar all the time is this the flu or is that just my excuse. I had lost over 4 stone a slimming world and am so disappointed in myself but also to grateful to feel my anxiety and OCD have improved dramatically.

Mine passed around wk 6 on flu but id had it for over 2 months before I started as part of my symptoms so cant say it was a side effect. Eat dry crackers before you get out of bed (messy but helps) & drink ginger ale or chew crystallized ginger - thats what helped me most. Plus try complan type drinks to get nutrition into your body, helps with feelings of weakness n lethargy.
Hope some of that is of help. It will get better even if it doesnt feel like it now.
Take care

Great your anxiety and ocd have improved so much. Im afraid I have no tips for you on dieting on flu just wanted to say the fact that you lost 4 stone before hand is amazing! Shows real determination and strength of character. Well flippin done you! I am a slimming world reject......
The only time I stopped craving carbs (apart from being nauseous thru anxiety/depression) is when I pretty much cut them out on a dukan/paleo style diet. Def stopped the craving after a few days but long term I didnt have the will power to stick to it a few months down the line (esp if had a drink, craved cr@p!).
I'm sorry that the flu has had that effect on your appetite, but if you lost the weight before I bet you can again especially now you're in a better frame of mind but dont put yourself under too much pressure. Healthy and cuddly is much better than skinny and miserable I reckon.
All the best
