Losing weight with anxiety disorder

Hi guys,

I'm a 21 year old male and I weigh 82kg (180 lbs) and I'm 186cm (6.1 feet). I have a anxiety disorder and depression which I deal for for 2,5 years. I make little movement every day and I don't do any sports. My bmi is ok, but I lost a lot of muscle so so my body contains of too much fat. Going outside is a struggle for me, but I'm working on it. Whole my life I felt very insecure about my body and I did multiple tries to do something about it but with constant fail. Having a healthy, fit and strong body may lower my anxiety as well due to a boost of self confidence.

I'm prepared to eat healthier and do exercises twice a week to start with. I don't have a good sleep rhythm and I often skip breakfast and eat food late at night.

Is there any good program I can follow which can help me out? I don't want a program which is hard to follow and good on short therm, but I'm looking for something which is good for the long term. Besides I am really working on myself with anxiety and depression so I don't want overkill stuff. I still live at home so In the evening what I eat for dinner I don't have much to choose. Can someone advice whats the best thing to do?

maybe you could ask at your local gym for a trainer to give you some advice bearing in mind your own particular circumstances and details cos what works for one person on here might not work for another as everybody is different - like you say your BMI is ok so you dont really want to lose wgt as such and yet this is a wgt loss forum so not sure it is the best place to come for advice but good luck anyway
