Loss of sensation in the head of the penis

Hi,

I'm 17 years old and in October 2021, I had covid and two weeks after my recovery, I had an erection problem (I had an erection itself, but I could not move the penis). After 3 days, this problem went away, but then I lost the sensitivity of the head of the penis.

I don't know how to describe it, but when I move my finger quickly over the head, I don't feel anything, but if I move it slowly, I feel a very little bit. I am uncircumcised, and during masturbation I do not feel how the foreskin rubs against the head.

Now with an orgasm and an erection everything is fine.

I visited a urologist, he examined everything, said that outwardly everything is fine, but the sensitivity can hardly be returned.

And two days before the problems started, I masturbated about 10 times a day and before that I was curious to walk with the head of the penis open for about a week. Could this be related to my problem?

And yet, during covid, I completely lost my sense of smell, which was restored immediately after recovery, but after two months, the smells of meat, garlic, bread and many other things were distorted. This problem has not gone away yet. Perhaps it can also be related to the effect of covid on nerve endings in general?

Thanks

"And two days before the problems started, I masturbated about 10 times a day"

Excessive masturbation can cause a temporary loss of sensation. Best you stop watching porn and give the masturbation a rest. Sensation will return over time.

      Thanks for reply

How long should the break be? Just the longest break I've had during this time was 16 days.

And it's been a year since the problem started.

      Thanks again

If you're ready to take this journey, I'd recommend until the problem is resolved. However long it takes. It will be worth it. Instead of masturbation, focus on how you can get closer to meeting a sexual partner. I think you will find the sensation comes back again.
