Strangely enough I have lost weight as I can not stop gping to the loo. Since taking losatan my hbp is not controlled it it all over the place

So today I decided not to take it as I feel I am going to pass out even thoughts of dying

I was diagonsed with hbp on valentine's day 2017

Yes, I was prescribed Losartan 100mg which did nothing but make me miserable.. It gave me my first anxiety attack that I've ever had.. so bad I left the grocery store with shopping cart full of groceries.. after complaining to a nurse's assistant she told me to stop taking the pills which I did.. don't stop this medication like that it can cause rebound typertension .. it was a nightmare.. these drugs are dangerous look at all the complaints worldwide.. it's amazing we are still alive...

How high is your blood pressure? I have to take 25mg in the morning along with 100 mg of Labetalol. I take 3 drugs for bp and it took a long time for my body to get used to the drugs. It sounds like you need to change your medication. Talk to your doctor.

Hope you find a drug you can tolerate. Watch your sodium especially processed foods.

Losartan interacts with painkillers and alcohol. Also you are supposed to have good kidney function for being able to take Losartan.

A lot of people have to try a number of drugs to find one that suits them, it sounds like this isnt the one for you. You need to be prepared to go back and tell them, there are a number of drugs that work in different ways, hopefully you can find one you can tollerate. Don't let them put you off, a lot of Drs seem to minimise the side effects. It does look like you do need something, you cant really leave your BP at that level.
