Lost....

Hi sweet people,

I'm so grateful for being added to this community. First of all sorry if my writting is not correct but I am not from UK. Maybe it is not related but I need your opinion. I was diagnosed with GS when I was 14, now I am 32. I've never have any symptom since almost 6 years ago but I don't know if they could be related to GS. My symptoms are: horrible epigastric pain, bloating, nausea and sickness, 0 apetite, weight loss and extreme fatigue. My bilirrubine is higher than normal but not crazy, and all my stomach test are fine, so I am totally lost. I don't know what can I do to fight against this general abdominal discomfort which is worse if I eat. All the day I feel ill. They have tried all kind of meds including psycho-meds and nothing works. i have to say (maybe TMI) that in my period days my symptoms are even worse. I've never had jaundice or something similar so...maybe GS is not related at all. Thanks for the reading, any opinion will be really appreciated. Big big kisses!

    Oh dear,

I am so sorry that you have been dealing with this for so long.

I would suggest that at least some of your symptoms could be GS related, and the only way to find out is through trial and error.

how much have you played with your diet?

for me taking artificial colors, and refined sugar from my diet has made a world of difference. I know other people has good results taking out wheat. But you will just have to play with it for yourself and see what might make a difference for you personally.

and rememberm even if it is just a small difference, even that is good.

    bes if luck,

    emily

So I too had played with my diet a lot, and eventually I have found that the key for me was to not take out a whole food group, instead I found that I can process all real food, but nothing artificial.

so I cannot have fake or refined sugar, I cannot have artificial vanilla extract, I do not do well with artificial colors.

      It is worth trying.
