Hay Adzaa211 Yeah it's alright. I had two differen brakes on my ankle. And had two casts. And my toes was doing the same thing. I was curious too and I asked my doctor he said yes that was fine. And also grab a little thing of a baby wipes and that help big time.!! Just put them in the morning and I night and after you get out of shower you'll be fine good luck to you!!

I had the same fracture and any kind of feeling on my toes felt SOOO GOOD when I was in the cast. My boyfriend got used to calling them "toe hugs", where he'd intertwine his fingers with my toes and massage just a little. When I was in the cast, my skin got really gross all over my foot and leg because all that skin your body produced when there was swelling has to come off somewhere. I constantly felt like my toes were dry and cracking (when in reality it was the skin that was shedding inside the cast).
Lotion on the toes really helped me as did taking a baby wipe/moist washcloth and having it run over/through my toes. The surgeon also used betadine before surgery and the wipes helped to get that gross yellow color off of them slowly but surely. You just want to make sure your cast doesn't get wet or absorb any of the lotion because that'll get really gross really quickly :P
