Lots of Bloating and Stomach Pain?

Posted , 6 users are following.

Symptoms

* Tight feeling in abdomen (right below belly button)

* Tight feeling in intestines as well

* Gurgling of stomach

* Uncomfortable bloated feeling

* Constant gas (and I do mean near constant) (odorless [according to 2 sources], soundless)

* Sick feeling all the time

* Perhaps unrelated: Redness around anus

* Blood in stool sometimes

Medication (so far)

* Probiotics daily (2 daily)

* Candida medication (in case it was that)

* Anti-gas pills (tried 3 different kinds and none of them really worked

* Stopped eating sugar and wheats and milk

* Started to work out

Does anybody know what it could be? I'm really tired of having it and feeling really depressed sad I know that most people will just suggest eating better and such but that doesn't actually help. Is there any medication or procedures I can do?

    Hi

    I got to agree with above comment, if blood is showing I would go straight to doctors and not just blame it on ibs, good chance it is ibs but can't be to safe. More tests the better with this sort of thing, just to put your mind at rest if nothing else,

    Take care

    I agree with everyone else - blood in stools means you need to see your GP and probably get a colonoscopy. Could be polyps, not necessarily anything sinister but the sooner you get it checked, the better.

    If you have blood, see your doctor. Haemorrhoids, polyps, or anal fissures could be the cause.  Apart from a colonoscopy/barium enema ask for a  fecal calprotectin stool test as well to look for inflammation and rule out Crohns or Colitis.
