Low folic acid - is this anaemia

Hi - Just had blood tests done this week and doctors rang yesterday to say my folic acid very low and vitamin d low - my diet isnt the greatest but have been trying to eat more healthily the past couple of months. I am now freaking out as I read low folic acid could be cancer somewhere and I am feeling sick with worry now. - anyone else had low folic acid - sorry if this is in the wrong thread - thanks x
