Hi guys last night I had a fever it was 100.1 when I checked it I immediately freaked out and started crying bc I have horrible health anxiety and I kept rechecking it and I believe it was 100.3 or 100.4 as I was crying which made me even more hot and my cheeks were rlly flushed... My stool is loose, not hungry, stomach cramps, flatulence, I just checked my temp rn and It was 98.2 but I am afraid of fevers and also I have this severe fear of hiv/aids and that causes fever so of course I immediately thought that but My stomach started to mess up the night of thanksgiving dinner... I think I overate and in the middle of the night I was super nauseous, bloated  but I have not thrown up I just have no apetite at all, loose stool, stomach cramps feels like it is tightening or pulling & some heartburn. Is it the stomach flu or food poisoning ?! Nobody else in my house is sick from their stomach I am super worried and my mom doesnt want to take me to the ER because she says it isn’t necessary.... I ate about 2 plates of food on thanksgiving then at night I went to eat some more 😭

98.6° F is the considered "normal" benchmark for body temperature. Sounds like you just got a bit of stomach pain, possibly excess gas from eating and unfortunately your anxiety will have messed with your digestive system. You'll have also put your body into fight or flight response so your temperature will have gone up. Put down the thermometre as that will only increase your worry. Drink lots of fluids, peppermint tea if you can get it will help ease your stomach and try some calming techniques. Your apetite will return as your body readjusts from the stress.

It may be just a virus that will clear in a few days, all I can suggest is try and give your tummy time to sort out by not eating for a day, that will clear  you out and then you can move on, remember to drink fluids regular and that will replace fluids you are using up when you go to the toilet. It sounds like all the food of thanksgiving has upset your tummy.
