low heart and abdominal problems

hi

i am a 34 year old male, no previous health problems, last two years i had nothing wrong with me, did not even have a cold

i have been having chest pains and abdominal painspast two months, fatigue confused, not sleeping good, i wake up every 1 hour don't understand why, i don't have stress, life is good i have everything what i wished for

for the abdominal pain recently i had an endoscopy done in which they found black like ulcers and some tissue was taken from the stomach for tests in which i was diagnosed with h pylori

i was given 10 days of two antibiotics and esomperprazole 20mg

after the ten days i was moved to just nexium esomeprazole 40mg 1 a day

i have chest pain still now and again , and burping is constant sometimes i wake up at night just to burp.

also my bowels have changed i now have pain in my pipes in the morning, and every morning first thing is i move some bowels, which again is little movements. normal colour no blood.

back to the chest pain, i went to the hospital they gave me an X-ray and ecg and blood pressures which was normal but they noticed my heart rate is 52-54 bpm i was aware of that before from 10 years ago. but the cardiologist wanted to know why my heart rate is so low.

so she did and ecg again, sent me for blood tests, full blood tests were normal, cholesterol normal, ecg was normal but again there was a low heart rate. so the doctor did and ecography in which the heart is fine all the pipes were fine, on that day my blood pressure was low, so she diagnosed me with low blood pressure. and just as the heart was beating low they wanted to monitor me for 24 hours. the result came out my heart rate during the day was between 51-54, when i slept it dropped between 46bpm and lowest for 4 hours was around 31bpm.

basically she says the pipe from the brain to the heart is not good, and if i take this medicine this can fix the problems i have, also she says this is what is causing my gas. is this true?

i was going for a colonospy just to check my colon but the cardiologist said no point as pipes are fine for the bowels

iv been monitoring my blood pressure during my symptoms with my own device and it sits normal around 107/76 highest i seen it was 115/84.

what the doctor prescribed me was phenobarbital 10mg 1 at night, heptaminol 187g 1 3x day, magnesium vitb6 (uvimag b6) 1 3 x a day, vitalcomplex energy producing metabolism 1 x day after breakfast.

please advise me and help me if this is the right medicine to take, I'm worried that i have been misdiagnosed, i don't want to take low blood pressure tablets if my blood pressure is not low.

someone please advise on the medicine and my condition

    Hey

Your bp is perfect! Also in relation to ur heart rate that too can be normal for sum people especially more active people. We had lady patient on our ward with low heart rate of 21! But she was asymptomatic not a bother but she did get pacemaker as she elderly... I too have irregular heartbeat and when I'm sleeping I have sinus Brady of 45-47 BPM...I was on beta blocker as my heart went quite fast on couple of times but had t stop as I'm too sensitive.. Go with your body as well but in relation to ur bp its perfectly normal no need to worry!

      Hi

      Thanks for reply

The thing is i dont go gym or do any sports. My weight is 78kg

I felt healthy before 2 months since the ulcers started i feel my body is changing..

Im worried with the heart rate dropping to 31bpm when im sleeping

Surely this would need to be investigated further?

      Is this not serious issue

Ok as always check with your doctor, but something you could consider is your electrolytes.  Are you getting enough sodium vs potassium?  The reason I ask is because I cut out salt to be 'healthy', while having lots of fruit and veg, and I didn't realise I think I was overdoing the potassium.  And my heart slowed right down 1 morning after a large potassium meal.  I think I got depleted of sodium long-term.  So check your intake (sodium rda is about 2.3g, salt 6g, and potassium about 4g/4000mg).

Also you could check your thiamine levels (vitamin B1).  I think I also got low on that around the same time.  That can apparently affect your heart and nervous system.  Thiamine is destroyed easily by heat, tea, and quercetin, so I probably was eating foods that destroyed it and also cooking too long maybe.  But I boosted my thiamine and sodium a bit (not a huge amount)  and I got an improvement in heart rate.  Just a couple of ideas to check for slow heartbeat (bradycardia)!  Good luck and if you make adjustments do them slowly and carefully in case it causes more problems.
