There are a lot of causes for low iron like the staff you eat. Too more severe conditions like blood loss

I am not a vegetarian or a vegan, I eat meat and leafy vegetables. I also didn't undergo any severe blood lost. That's just strange. Now I feel tired if I did not take my iron tablet.

It does not have to be severe blood loss.  sometimes as in the case of my brother-in-law, my friend and myself it can be caused by mild but long lasting blood loss caused by a stomach ulcer or haemhorroids. It actually isn't that strange and a cause is not always found.

It could be ulcers as Gill said causing minor blood loss which is nothing serious. Did you do a blood test to check it and if you did was your red blood cells low
