Got tested for herpes. It came back positive for HSV 2 but range was 2.98. I have no symptoms at all. From some research if it's less than 3.5 and no symptoms, there's a 50/50 chance a western bolt test would confirm it as negative. Has this ever happened to anybody? still waiting on a call from my doctor. Any advice... I'm trying not to freak out!

That's what I'm trying to figure out. my Igm was negative for both HSV 1&2 But my Igg was hsv 1 negative and hsv2 positive. no outbreaks, cold sores, or discomfort. Then I'm told since it's a low positive to get retested. I'm just playing the waiting game now because I'm just confused about it all.
