Low Positive HSV-1 igG Test??

Posted , 2 users are following.

I recently received a test result for HSV-1 igG antibody test. The "positive range" is >1.1.

My result was 3.7

Does anyone know if this could be a false positive (as in, should I retest)?

What is the typical range for a positive result? I have seen numbers in the 60s range, but mine is only at 3.7. I am wondering if this could mean that I was recently infected, as the antibody levels were on the lower end.

Thank you!!
