Hi, I had a colonoscopy 2 days ago and it was extremely painful...I had Entonox first but it didn't help so they gave me sedation but it also didn't work - at all.
I got a report where is that I got IV Midazolam 002.0mg and Fentanyl 050mcg.
Do you know how much you got? I think this must be very low dose or don't know why it didn't work,...

Me too regards being sedated, I felt everything and felt tipsy when the sedative went in but I'm sure it wore off. Especially around the corners and pumping air in was not nice. I got through it though and was glad when it was over, interestingly the consultant said I wouldn't remember anything but I remember it all
