Low sugar or something else?

So I get pretty bad suagr crashes, or at least I think that's what they are... they happen sometimes, not always. I have a diagnosis of hypoglycemia from a functional medical doctor who ran some bloodwork, but the bad crashes happen usually when I start to diet or go low carb or go on my treadmill...my whole body wants to shut down and I have internal vibrations and all that, cold and hot at the same time and I sweat a lot...I feel better once I take more sugar and food and stuff but I feel SO off for the next few days- better and not like I will pass out but just off and like I want to sleep all the time and like my body just wants to shut off and I get sort of depressed I think? It's not just I feel phsyically off, but I feel off mentally and not like myself at all and things around me even feel off too ...and wondering why this is and why I am not just bouncing back if I take sugar. Are these true sugar crashes or something else? thanks!

i get same thing. i was told its because your body runs on sugar. when you go low your brain shuts down along with other things. it gets hard to think. i have it bad. i cant get above 90 and have got readings as low as 45 on my meter. i am 5 years over due for my first colonoscopy. scheduled for this month. i am panicing. i dont think i can do the 24+ hour no solid food thing.

Are you diabetic? If so which type or even just pre?

Sugar crashes are normal and to solve it stop sugar/carbs.

Too stop feeling awful while you do this make sure you are drinking enough fluids electrolytes are very important and fasting helps but you may want to take it easy with work outs for a week or so.

Fasting is easy the body produces its own sugar which is why we can easily go 16-18hrs without eating also we have reserves when you get the crash its due to rapid decline so i expect you have when working out not eaten a fat rich meal.
