    Hi Jinette,

I too am waiting for a prescription of vit.D.

I have similar symptoms to yourself but thought it was due to having

my Ankylosing Spondylitis which is rheumatologial.

Re. your "pain all over", perhaps check A. S. symptoms so that you can rule

    that one out?

Hope you will feel better soon.

You could try to get outside when it's sunny, even if it's only for 10 or 20 minutes.

My gastro doctor has done loads of blood tests cause I've been having stomach issues that's how I found out my vitamin d is a bit low I also have low iron but it's only a little low as well oh well I'm hoping the vitamin d is causing my pain and nothing else I'll see in 2 months and if I'm still in pain I will go back and see my doctor so she can refer me to a specialist.

Hi.  I was feeling tired all the time, depressed with anxiety.  I have a pain in one leg and my foot is swelling on the other now and again,  sore to touch. I know I haven't knocked it.  I get dizziness sometimes and feel sweaty.  The doctor said it was probably down to the low Vitamin D. Went for blood tests and I am low on iron and vitamin d.  I am taking Fultium-D3 800IU capsules (2 daily) and iron. (I take Mirtazapine for the anxiety).  I hope they work quickly and hope my anxiety is down to the vitamin D deficiency as I don't want to be on my medication.

Hi,  sorry for the late reply.  Yes they did check it and it was quite low.  Gave me Ferrous Fumerate to take.  This is the second time in the past few months I have taken them.  Will be on them for three months before they do another blood test.  Just concerened about my swollen foot which flares up now and again.  Doctor told me to go back in a few weeks if it still the same.

I had low vitamin D too. Average range on a blood test is 78-250 or something like that and I was at 26. No idea what those really mean but 26 is very low compared to the 78-250. My doc put me first on a prescription pill of 50 000ui vitamin D once a week for 12 weeks and then a few months later regular vitamin from the pharmacy 7 tablets of 1000ui daily for 8 weeks and when I went back for a blood test it was at 87 so I'm now normal. Now I only take 2 1000ui a day pills and may not need any in the summer.

For me after the first week on the higher dose I felt better. I would get dizzy and inflammation all the time.

    Hope you feel better soon

      I think it's a long rd.
