low Vitamin D and 431 platelet count

I just found out that I am vitamin D deficient, my levels were 18 my Dr. Now has me on 50k units a week I took another blood test and my platelet levels were 431, according to their lab that is high but when you look online the normak range says 150-450. Has anyone else experienced elevated platelet levels due to low vitamin D?

My vit D was 26 and my platelet level 536. Taking vit D supplement in three months my vit D went up to 52.

  So did you platelet levels go down? Do you still have all of the symptoms of Vitamin D deficiency...I'm just trying to see when I should expect a change

  Yes my platelet count went down to 365. The supplements seem to have made a difference, I am now waiting for some sun so I can sit outside and get more vit D.

Did you take vitamin D, and what happened to the platelet count. Please kindly do inform me. Since the case is same with me.
