LPR & Eustachian Tube Inflammation

Hi! I have suffered with LPR and Eustachian Tube inflammation for 10 years now. It went away several months after I quit dairy. After not having this for several years, it has returned. My ears feel like they are underwater and noises are VERY loud and uncomfortable. It makes me want to give up on everything and hide in my house. There is alot of pressure in my head and its even uncomfortable to speak. The only times I would get this would be the two allergy seasons a year. I live in Florida, so thats the months surrounding March and October. The theory held true for all the years that I had it, so its definitely related somehow. I have only been to the doctor for the diagnosis and one more time after that to complain it didn't work, and since I didn't have insurance at the time, didn't see it worth while to pursue it with a trail of doctors and disappointment. That doctor basically put me on Pecid AC, told me to quit smoking and sent me on my way. The Pepsic AC did absolutely nothing and he didn't really seem to give a crap. Now I just started taking the UK version of Galviscon Advance, I ordered it from Amazon. It makes a barrier instead of getting rid of stomach acid, which most of us so desperately need to digest our food. Is there any new information out there? I don't think I can live with this the way that I did for 10 years. When it comes on, I just want to cry and I become depressed. Im getting insurance this November, does anybody have any direction for me, so that I can get this looked at. Not alot of doctors other than an ENT understand it... Thank you

Sorry to hear it returned. I feel your pain I battle the same issue and have yet to find a doctor who can help. Are you still dairy-free? Maybe it's a histamine/allergy issue?
