LS and accidity/alkaline

I'm not a scientist. Perhaps there are others among us who know more in this regard. My thought is: What happens when we age, other than hormonal change? Does our body become more accidic perhaps? Could that be the underlaying cause for some forms of LS? In other words - could a chemical imbalance result in LS?

I have been determined to make this dilation work. Totally concentrated on the healing of this procedure that was performed approx two weeks ago now. It was no easy feat, but it looks as if I'm gaining.
Tomorrow I will know what my gyna thinks of the result this far.

Can you tell me whether this process will continue? Or are you saying also that some of this nasty stuff starts to reappear?

All chemical reactions in your body are started by chemicals called enzymes. For example, if you convert chemical A to chemical B and release energy, enzymes must start these reactions. All enzymes function in a very narrow range of acidity. (The degree of acidity or alkalinity is expressed as "pH."). If your blood changes its acidity or alkalinity for any reason, it is quickly changed back to the normal pH or these enzymes would not function and the necessary chemical reactions would not proceed in your body.
For example, when you hold your breath, carbon dioxide accumulates in your bloodstream very rapidly and your blood turns acidic, and you will become uncomfortable or even pass out. This forces you to start breathing again immediately, and the pH returns to normal. If your kidneys are damaged and cannot regulate the acidity of your bloodstream, chemical reactions stop, poisons accumulate in your bloodstream, and you can die.
Certain foods can leave end-products called ash that can make your urine acid or alkaline, but urine is the only body fluid that can have its acidity changed by food or supplements. ALKALINE-ASH FOODS include fresh fruit and raw vegetables. ACID-ASH FOODS include ALL ANIMAL PRODUCTS, whole grains, beans and other seeds. These foods can change the acidity of your urine, but that's irrelevant since your urine is contained in your bladder and does not affect the pH of any other part of your body.
When you take in more protein than your body needs, your body cannot store it, so the excess amino acids are converted to organic acids that would acidify your blood. But your blood never becomes acidic because as soon as the proteins are converted to organic acids, calcium leaves your bones to neutralize the acid and prevent any change in pH. Because of this, many scientists think that taking in too much protein may weaken bones to cause osteoporosis.

My specialist thought the whole environment looked well enough to go back to maintenance level of the use of clobetasol. And of course there is nothing that can prove that my spray bottle use with a bit of baking soda in it has 'done the trick'. I also use loads of coconut oil down there for the necessary lubrication. It is a task and a half to keep the two opposite layers seperate. So far so good. Together with the healing it has been very helpful of course that the LS lays low for now.
However, this morning I was woken up by the well known 'zing!' of LS. Treated it with baking soda this time and all is calming down. Tonight I have to use a small amount of clobetasol again, as per instruction of my specialist.
I have been very strict with my diet for the longest time, also due to thryoid and adrenals. I'm given extra B12 and extra B vitamins. It's a big list by now, among which also magnesium, I eat gluten free, due to being gluten sensitive for eons, don't drink milk anymore for the same reason that it made me very nausiated, only some cheese. And have greatly benefitted overall. My intestines are behaving much better because of all this. I'm no longer catching every bug and haven't had a cold in a long time. I think I'm pretty much on par with what you are doing and it might be that we're talking about a similar form of LS. (I suspect that there are various kinds.)
Though I realize that I'm living in between two worlds. Or perhaps I could say that perhaps this is where the two worlds meet. Would you tell me about your internal use by personal message?

And of course, if a vital part of the body starts to fail - we're getting poisoned. That last part often seems to be a matter of luck. The human body is a fascinating 'machine' and by now I'm convinced that there is a lot more to it than we know at present. As my family physician says - the longer I'm in this profession, the more I realize that we know so little. Heroic of him to be able to freely admit that. So I keep thinking that it is important, in order to be able to learn more, to keep asking questions. A surgeon friend of mine keeps puzzling over auto immune diseases. Could it be ,,,? I like his exploring mind. There are no answers yet. But by staying open to different angles of thinking an answer might be found.
