i definitely have more discharge which i know is maybe not the norm as lots of other women are dry but i'm only 32 so not menopausal whoch probably makes that symptom worse. its normal clear discharge but does increase the normal vagina odour i find. its like what you get when you ovulate but all the time

jane, before I was diagnosed with LS I was having a fleeting internal itch and odor. That's what brought me to the gyn. She found no cause for any odor; diagnosed with LS instead! I started using steroid and hormone cream but itch and odor still elusive. I asked for a round of flagyl (had worked years earlier for unidentified infection that caused great discomfort but no odor) which really tamped it down. That was a year ago. Not much of an issue now. If I notice any I just rinse off with a tiny bit of BS during the day. Plain water probably just as good. Dry off with hair dryer on low and use a bit of coconut or Yin oil.

Hi Jane, I'm only recently diagnosed but have been suffering the symptoms for a while. I have definitely noticed the odour issue and am very conscious of it.
I find scented panty liners only aggravate, but find it hard to go without. In fact, when I first started experiencing symptoms I thought I'd developed an allergy to towels / liners.
If anyone can suggest anything I'd be grateful too.

You may have Bacterial Vaginosis. I get it frequently now because of the clobetasol throwing things off. Its super annoying because BV can also cause vulva irritation so its rrally hard to tell whats going on.

I do, though it's hard to know the source. Everything down there is not the way it used to be, so figuring out whether it's due to menopausal dryness, another poster's suggested source of bacterial vaginosis, or Factor X, I don't know. I just know I notice a difference from Back In The Day, FWIW.
