LS and Woman's hour (UK ladies)

Hello all you ladies in the UK. A couple of years ago I wrote to Woman's hour on Radio 4, asking them to cover LS in one of their programmes. I was told that there was no need as they had covered it a couple of years previously!

Could lots of you write in and ask for it? If we explained the lack of awareness, how many women go undiagnosed, how doctors are so ignorant that we are having to find our own treatments. How important AWARENESS is to catch this early to prevent serious damage, and that awareness is lacking in women and medical professionals. Maybe even emphasise that woman's hour could be at the forefront of alleviating chronic pain and misery for tens of thousands of women. Tell them that it's shameful how little research or knowledge goes into this debilitating disease and that nothing has changed in treatment or management for decades, including the shame and embarrassment that means sufferers stay isolated in spite of the fact it is actually very common.... etc. etc. etc

Let's give it a go. Lets see if they listen to a crowd of us. it's harder to ignore a crowd of letters than an individual e-mail.
