Jared - have you called all practices that are listed online?

    I put in the term

    lichen sclerosus clinics knoxville tn

and came up witha whole page of places - yep some are only going to treat patients with insurance etc. BUT I did see a few that also had the phrase Public Health.. I don't know if that means they will take low income folks or not. BUT ya gotta CALL to find out.

IF they say they don't take low income etc, then QUICKLY come back with a request for some place that does. A nurse will usually try their best to FIND OUT for you if they don't know it off hand.

HAVE YOU been taking lot and lots of vitamin D3? and F2 and magnesium and Omega three's and zinc????? if so, how's it been helping?

if that's what you googled...all those places are just crappy walk in clinics...I have good insurance that covers everything but no dermatologist is taking me seriously

Look here Jared,  I don't know how old you are but I'm 72 and am not used to this attitude of yours.

MOSt people do everything in their power to help themselves - without pixxing on those who try to help. You didn't tell us you had insurance, only that you couldn't afford anything for your medications.   IF you've relaly alled all 35 or 40 ofifces I'd be surprised.  People who spend 10 YEARS learning  medicine can't all be "cra**y.

Dear admin - if you don't like this response you should take down Jared's offensive note too. we've all tried to help and he seems to want us to do everything for him? and be angry when we don't do evrything for him...

i'm very confused as to what attitude you are talking about? In my original post instead of writing couldn't anyone help me I meant to write could...when I googled what you told me a bunch of walk in clinics popped up...those aren't good places here...I don't know why telling you I have insurance is having an attitude? also I never said that I can't afford medications...I'm very confused as to what upset you? I think you are interpreting some tone that I'm not using in my wards....Sorry for the misunderstanding I'm kind of baffled by your anger...

also ive been to two dermatologists and an urologists already....and there really are many bad doctors...It took me a year to get a diagnosis for my bladder disease, two years to get my thyroid diagnosed, I got my gall bladder taken out for no reason, six months to get sjogrens diagnosed, and six years to find someone to do surgery on a completely torn loose rib that about 5 surgeons refused to acknowledge...so there really are a lot of bad doctors...i'm concerned because I see the same pattern repeating with this new ailment....

gosh Jared.... some people miss subtle languaging, maybe because they were never taught it or called on it when they were12 or so.

Your first phrase is dissing my googling ability (basically spitting out the phrase)

your second phrase is dissing highly professional men and women without actually knowing them. THe disrespect for hardworking people is uncomfortable for any of us listening. They may NOT have the skills that are needed to diagnose LS - SO WHAT!

They should be able to point you on to another place.  but if you are too lazy to do your own due diligence ( checking out everything) you'll never know.    etc.

p.s. my apologies, I just realized I have a fever..but the point is that dissing everybody who can possibly help you is not how to "win friends and influence enemies"

      get it?

LET US KNOW if you have begun to use Vitamin D3 etc? and have you READ my article I spent three weeks on?  if not it becomes worthless to communicate.

i disagree with you so trying to intentionally insult me when I meant you no disrespect isn't helpful...i wasn't even meaning anything bad about what you googled and you don't live in this city so it's hard to tell you how bad walk in clinics are here...thanks for your advice in the past you don't have to respond to me anymore...thank you
