Lumbar Flat Back Syndrome

Hi everyone! This is a major issue for me. I've been going crazy because of this constant back pain I'm experiencing. I am a very active athlete and I work out twice a day. Having this syndrome prevents me from doing all the active stuff I used to do. Plus, my long-distance boyfriend will be coming back here next month which means I need to be in my most healthy body. Does anyone of you have any experience on this? What are the treatments you did? I searched online that I should continue on being active but it's ironic because I am active my whole life. Please I need advice.

Need to get a MRI find out what's going on . I was no athlete, but had a physical job and did keep fit 3 times a wk . Now after a decompression op for disc protrusion 3 yr . Further health issues leaves me out of work with very reduced mobility. Also another op on the cards next year. IM all for healing naturally, but just sometimes this is not going happen

I was the same and am convinced I was actually too active. I think my workouts caused me to slip a disk and now I've given up the gym and am just managing to work 2 hours a day by the skin of my teeth. The advice says be active but it really just means don't spend all your time laying in bed. What's definited as active for one person is different to another but even just hanging out the washing is being "active"

Totally agree listen to yr body when it tells u it's to much it's to much . I never listened and always pushed my self even when I was in agony. Not no more, only get one chance to get it right

Thank you for your response. I am trying to do more aerobics and running to loosen up my spine and all. I'm feeling a little bit better now but there's still some pain. I will have to observe for another week and see if I also need MRI.
