Lump & acid

I’ve been having terrible acid for months followed by a lump feeling in my throat that’s very uncomfortable. I also have painful ears when this lump feeling occurs! Can anyone suggest what I should do?

I would request that those who experience Globus symptoms please also indicate the approximate spot on their throat that the lump/sensation is coming from. i.e., left side? Right side? Center? etc. Danielle, I would suggest you see an ENT specialist to at least make sure it's not something other than Globus. Globus is a mysterious ailment and I say that because medical doesn't really know what it is. I will tell you that I believe relieving the acid problem along with stress can lessen the sensation. Do you have any throat clearing happening" If so you may have LPR reflux. These all seem to be connected some how. Most of all, don't panic. If it is Globus there is a very good chance it will lessen all by itself. Try to ignore it if you can and I think it won't bother you as much. I hope this helps you. Best wishes from a fellow sufferer.

    Hi Danielle,

Get some meds to control the reflux from doc or chemist.

Get doc to check your throat to be safe.

Its most probably related to reflux or anxiety.
