Lump behind ear

I have a small hard lump behind my ear and I'm terrified it's something awful like a brain tumor... Does anyone else have this or know what it could be?

My guess would be a Sebaceous Cyst and if you play around with it and infect it its get nasty. Best to see a dermatologist.

    Hi there,

I'd say that it's far more likely to be a spot or cyst but the best thing to do would be to visit your GP and get them to check it out - that'll give you a bit of peace of mind

Emma, it's not a brain tumour. Brain tumours grow in your brain, inside your skull. They can't come through to the outside. It could be one of a dozen things, all harmless. Ask your doctor about it.

I had one, it was a sebaceous cyst and it went away after a few days. Try not to worry, but if it continues to grow, see your doctor or the nurse at the surgery.
