Lump behind ear piercing

These seem to regularly occur behind my ears where my lobe piercings are. I have Rhythmic Movement Syndrome which means I sometimes head bang at night which I think starts these off. I've had similar before this one feels reluctant to go away.
I've been trying to give it a hot compress with hot salted water daily and I put a plaster over it at night to cushion it. I've also tried compressing with just warm water on a cotton pad. I'm currently trying wound healing gel.
It's not painful or anything apart from being a bit sore because I've been fiddling with it too much over the last 24 hours. It feels quite hard.
Any other advice for home treatment or just can tell me what it is?
(Top image taken this morning - 25th. bottom 2 taken on the 20th but its been there a lot longer but I'm unsure how long)

How long ago did you have this piercing? If its quite new its probably just a granuloma and you are giving it all the right treatment, but dont finger it or you could set up an infection.
If its quite an old piercing it could be a keloid scar and the only successful way to remove it is to see a professional for advice. Your doctor or GP would be a good place to start. Keloid scars are often found at or near a piercing
Both granulomas and keloids look very similar to start with but keloids usually get darker and can increase in size.
