I have strep throat. Saw a doctor today and he gave me antibiotics but he didnt answer my question. I have a lump behind the posterior pillar of the pharynx. Its red and it keeps getting bigger. Its about 15mm long and about 25% of the width of my throat. I have pain on swallowing and it always feels like theres a needle in the bubble like lump. My jaw now hurts as well. I just want to know what it is.
