hi, i developed back pain about 7 months ago, its worse every day. sciatica too, all the way down to my toes. cant drive, hard to walk. rest doesnt help. hard lump now, noticed about 2 months ago, has got bigger. lower back slightly to the right. had MRI fews days ago waiting on results. about 10 days ago started getting severe shin pain also on right side. stabbing pain, feels like its a bone pain not muscle. tender to touch, almost like severely bruised but its not. is this related? any suggestions. at the end of my tether. ive forgotten what no pain feels like.

I would suspect your shin pain is from the strain you are putting on it by walking strange because of the back and sciatica pain. I am a little worried about the lump near your spine although there is a possibility that it is from a benign tumor such as a gliomas or if you search the internet you will come up with the names of several benign tumors that grow on the spine. Although benign is good, these tumors can press on the vertabra causing them to shift which can cause them to pinch a nerve. I have two or three of them myself and fortunately they are not causing me any problems.

Hi Libby, I have EXACTLY the same symptons .For 9 weeks now. Nagging back / hip pain for about a year before. Lapland in 4 weeks and I don't think I will make it. I paid for it from my lump sum from teaching for all 12 of us. so sad. NHS was useless so went private saw consultant, had MRI and follow up all in one day. He said have caudal epidural £1800, I did 5 daysago and it has not worked yet It is a bulging disc at L3 / L4. I have lumps too but have had so for years and three doctors have said they are nothing. Please do not worry.Yes it is the shin that is worse of all, exactly as you have described. I am thinking about CBD oil. XXX
