Lump in neck for months.

I am a 23 year old female. Last year in May I had an endoscopy done where they put a camera in my stomach through my mouth. The next day I woke up with terrible pain on the left side of my throat. It hurt to swallow, and I also had a submandibular lymph node pop up as well. Ever since, I continuously have issues with a sore throat (on both sides now), and the lymph node is still there. It has been 9 months now. It is not tender to palpation. It is firm, but not rock hard. And I can move it between my fingers, but I don't think it actually moves spots like I believe it is fixed. It also hurts. It aches and burns. I have seen an ENT who did a CT scan of my neck with contrast and they told me there were no pathologically enlarged lymph nodes identified. But I know I can feel one. At least what I think is one. I also have fatigue, stiff neck, low grade fever, and shortness of breath, and itchy skin but not severely itchy. I do not have night sweats, but I do sweat more through the day than I ever have. I was tested for EBV which came back as a past recent infection, so my symptoms could be down to that. But I am terrified. I have a 2 year old daughter and am about to be married in May. I have an appointment with an ENT specialists on the 25th. But I am trying to ease my mind until then. All bloodwork has been normal. And the CT from October was normal. And this lump I'm referring to is the only one I feel. I have swelling on the right side of my neck but my ENT dismissed it because the CT was normal. Any advice on what this could be?

I haven't found any relief in going to these mainstream doctors. Unfortunately, the medical system is a business and their top sellers is drugs and unnecessary tests.

I would suggest reaching out to a holistic network where you can be heard by a doctor who can remember your name and allow you to express your symptoms. Drugs have their place, but because of their use in mainstream healthcare I don't trust how many times it's used appropriately.

Mystery health issues can be so isolating and scary. Please know that you aren't alone and that there is help. I've felt my entire world come crashing down because of my own struggles with my mystery illness. But, I've found peace in prayer. God bless you and your family 😃
