Lump in Nostril

I'm female, aged mid 50s.

I've had left sided congestion for around 3 years. I was told 3 years ago i had polyps but that they didn't need removal. The congestion has eased a bit but last July I noticed a hard lump which bled in the left nostril. I've used umpteen creams and sprays but it's still there. I saw an ent dr 2 months ago when he said it was a granuloma and to use another couple of creams but again it's still there.

The only change is that the lump no longer bleeds.

I saw the dr last week and now he says it's a cyst.

Can cysts be hard? It's definitely hard not soft.
