lump in the gum

after 18 months of my root canal i found this lump which is not visible from above but one can feel it with finger on my gum which is actually painless i.e i dnt feel any pain in that lump or teeth but still i scheduled my apointment with my dentist and he said its fine as far as u dnt feel any pain and he gave my antibiotics .now i felt that the size of the lump increase and i m worried.what should i do??help!

    Going through something similar myself, had a root canal a month or so ago, got an abscess between root canal and tooth behind it, had 5 days of 500g 3x daily amoxicillin lump went down but now jaw hurts and lump is still there just a little less, no idea how long to wait before i go back.. i hope we both get sorted!

      Just to say if your lump has gotten bigger you should ring them back because obviously antibiotics are not working!
