Lump in thigh - what could it be?

I've had a lump on the top outside of my left thigh for eight months. It's not sore (unless I lie on a hard floor on my left side) and it's hard and doesn't move around. It's roughly 1.5cm in length and about 0.5cm wide - similar to an oval shape. And its not visible, in that it doesn't stick out.

I had my second son early January 2020 and I noticed it soon after. I was in hospital for two weeks altogether and was given blood thinning injections daily.

I have spoken to my GP who recons it could be as a result of these injections. However, being silly and reading Google, Google says injection related lumps don't last this long.

Has anyone had an experience similar?
