Lump like sensation in neck coupled with severe weakness

Posted , 1 user is following.

It's been 6 yrs since I've had this lump like sensation in my throat and severe weakness. I've seen rheumatologist, oncologist, neurologist; the list goes on... Numerous testings (endoscopy, thyroid, HIV...) performed. All came back normal. My sed rate was very high (don't remember the exact figure). I remain in bed for days when I'm weak. I can barely get out of bed without breaking a sweat. Getting into the shower is a task. As for the sensation in my throat, it's not painful; just discomfort. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated.

omg 6 years is a long time to be troubled with this complaint Nottub.. I cant tell you what to do BUT if it was I,  then I would be finding another GP & having another full on medical..   If all came back ok, look for other alternatives such as exercise, diet etc., Sorry Im not giving you a better answer, seriously?  Ive never known or heard of anyone suffering from your symptoms without a diagnosis & treatment.. You poor darling, how awful & frustrating it must be..

Thanks deb44437....I am seeing a new GP that a friend referred me to. Matter of fact, this the 3rd one. Every results from all my practitioners came back normal. My current GP and the oncologist I saw a while back, believe it's spiritual. Friends & fam say the same. As far as exercise and diet, I do have a bad eating habit; however, I do work out vigorously at least 3x/wk. I can walk a good 6+ miles/day, but in the event of my weakness, walking around my house is a challenge. I went walking 3 days ago....In a quarter of a mile, I was sweating profusely. Was too weak to complete my exercise. I rested for 20 mins before returning home. Started watching my diet as of Sunday. Will see how that goes. Exercising is still a challenge, but taking it 1 step at a time.
