A few weeks ago I found a lump at the side of my armpit/breast and I'm very mysterious about what it is it it quite firm and it's movable it's hard to say what shape it is and it's quite hard to find the end it isnt huge and since I spotted it it has not changed In size at all its quite hard to find you've gotta move your fingers around for a few seconds before finding it. I don't have any other symptoms either. Thanks

Hi Daniella, I'm sure it's nothing to worry about, but you should see your GP. No one here is qualified to diagnose you, or give any medical advice/suggestions.

I agree that you should get it checked out by your doctor HOWEVER, several years ago I had a small, firm, movable little lump in my breast.  It wasn't near the armpit but was on the other side, near the cleavage.  I went to see a consultant and she was pretty sure it was something by the rather charming name of "breast mouse".  Apparently the time to worry is if a lump doesn't move but a breast mouse feels just like that, a little mouse under the skin as it moves quite a bit.  I had it removed with a local anaesthetic, a small cut and one stitch and have never had it back.  It was sent off for testing as anything that comes out of the body usually is and I heard nothing.   I also had another lump that turned out to be a cyst which I had drained and that has not returned either.  Obviously it's hard to say what your lump is but look up breast mouse and see what you think.

    Hi Daniella,

Sorry to hear your problem, it could possibly be a cyst.

I am glad you are asking and have noticed, it could be nothing to worry about and most probably will be nothing - but make sure you see your GP to get it checked out. Anytime a woman has any kind of lump, it needs to be checked immediately ~ don't assume anything! Wrong assumptions call kill!

So please as everyone pointed out quite rightly this is something that needs a physical observation by a professional to be able to see you on a one to one basis - as you can appreciate we have not develop as of yet consultation’s over the internet just yet for physical observations.

All the best and please, keep me posted.
