lump on leg

I had vein in right leg stripped on Xmas eve all went well and seemed recovery good but for last week or so I've noticed where bruising is on thigh I've got a lump which is sore and hot at times. Is this normal???? Has anyone else got sore after a few weeks. I've not got a follow up concerned need to see gp

    Not sure about this but feel the "hot at times" is maybe not good as this is one of the indications of DVT. Having said that the lump is something I have heard of which should go away of it's own accord given time. Re the DVT I don't think surface DVT is normal so may well not be this at all!!! If it was me I would want to see my GP as son as possible....

    after having my operation last year I had veins stripped from the leg

    I developed a lump where one of the insicissions was although mine

    did not cause my any pain and it didnt feel hot either, the lump went away after a while it took maybe 3 weeks though

    If your unsure contact your surgeon thats what my surgeon said to me

    Thank you ill keep an eye it's maybe just settling. Will see gp but usual nus 3 weeks to appointments lol

      My incisions are starting to get bumps and its been almost 3 weeks. They are hot as well. I have bad leg pain now, which I never had before. Not sure whats is going on...
