Lump on Leg

Just wondering if anyone is able to advise what this is. It is on the bottom of my leg up from my ankle and ive had it over a year. The lump is hard and raised. Sometimes its quite red then other times its more white and flaky. Ive been to the doctors. They say its fine but i'd like a second opinion. As I get older im getting more more moles so wonder if its that. My mum has had skin cancer several times so obviously that is a worry. Would I be able to get it removed? Thanks for your help.

The first sign of a sarcoma in an arm, leg, or torso may be a painless lump or swelling. Most lumps are not sarcoma. The most common soft-tissue lumps are lipomas. Lipomas are made of fat cells and are not cancer
