had it for a few weeks then it went down and then I couldn't stop myself picking at it and it went up again, initially was just a spot with pus inside. Any idea what it could be?

    Hi Fake ~

It could be a fatty deposit lump. You can be as skinny as a rail and get these.  Keep checking it and if it gets larger, see your GP, BUT!! stop picking at it!

I haven't any idea without guessing, thats why you should be visiting your Dr so they can tell you exactly what its most likely if not exactly to be &whats best to put on it. We can say oh try this & that and it could be making it worse! Please get back after, to keep us up to date what the Dr's say.

The thing is it might be infected, if the skin is broken and if so will only get worse unless you get antibiotic's to clear it up.

If it had pus in it it sounds like a small boil [looks roughly like one too].  When it bursts then the usual thing is that all the pus comes out and the boild heals.

I would suggest that perhaps all the pus did not come out. Try bathing it with hot water and if it does not go away as others say - see the doctor.  It may need antibiotics but I'd guess that it is not otherwise serious
