Lump on my tonsils today making me gag

I had the feeling of food stuck in the back of my throat today in work. I checked later that night to find something hanging off my right tonsil. I have no idea what it is.

There is no pain coming from it, no sore throat etc. It feels like theres something stuck in my throat and is very uncomfortable making me gag a lot and i can feel it when i swollow, I'm phoning the doctors tomorrow to try and get an appointment but looking to see if anyone knows what it is or seen it before ive attached photo's, thanks.imageimage
