Lump on penis, what to do?

Posted , 6 users are following.

I woke up yesterday, and found that a lump Ive had for quite a while thats not caused me any discomfort had seemingly swelled with pus, and I ended up squeezing it out - probably not a good idea. Anyway, it now looks like this imageimage

This swelling I guess is a result of me squeezing it, and the surrounding area seems to have became inflamed too.

Im rather worried about what may be the cause, so if anybody could shed light on that itd be appreciated - and should I see a doctor immediately or see if it goes down?

There is another more full on image, however it's not appearing automatically, you have to click that blue "image" button.

is it on the head or shaft

I'd say it's genuinely just under the head, on the skin below it at the right side of the penis.

Hard to tell with the movement of the skin however.

If it's erect it looks as if it's on the shaft, if not it looks like its further up between the head and shaft + It's directly on the right side of the penis.

When you have pus it suggests this started as a blocked skin pore that has now become infected. If you are in the UK get yourself a small bottle of TCP (liquid, not ointment or cream versions of antiseptic) and dab a small amount directly on to the lump 4 or 5 times a day. When it starts to subside 2 or 3 times daily, then when almost healed apply once daily until the wound is completely healed.
