I have this reddish lump on my scalp... i think it has been there for 2-3 months and because it is in an akward place I didnt look at it. so dont know if there has been any changes to it. Yesterday my husband looked at it.
It's about 1cm. It is not sore or itchy. I've attached a close up pic.
Does anyone know what it is?

Its not immediately obvious what it is and as it is in a place that can catch the sun I think you should see your doctor or a dermatologist for further advice. It may be nothing at all but it is impossible to tell on here and better be safe than sorry.
