lump on throat

I had this weird lump/bump appear on my throat. it doesn't hurt. not sure what it it is.

It looks very much like a swollen lymph node so you are probably fighting some sort of infection. Do you have a sore throat, painful ear, painful tooth? If it continues like this, or gets bigger or another one appears on the other side of your neck it would be advisable to see your doctor for advice. If you have had this for some time you should see your doctor as soon as possible.

Thx for response. I haven't been dealing with an infection or any of the listed problems so I guess I'll have to get it checked out.
